MISS
LOUISVILLE FIRE CROWNED
Louisville, KY-Tonight Liz
Horrall was crowned the first ever Miss
Louisville Fire. She graduated from Indiana
University and will now reign as Miss Louisville
Fire for the following year.
In her duties as Miss Louisville
Fire Liz will be seen around town at community
events and games as the spokesperson for
the Fire. She will also be featured in print
and television ads as well as radio spots
for the Fire. Along with her duties as Miss
Fire, Horrall also received a prize package
worth over $3,000. The amenities include
a $1,600 package from Cosmo Modeling Agency,
containing a six-hour photo shoot complete
with make-up artist and photographer. Also
included is a spa package and tanning products
from Planet Beach totally $700, and a year’s
worth of salon services and products from
Beauty First.
The competition started on
July 9th at Wildwood Country Club when 13
girls competed in the bathing suit and question
and answer segments of the competition.
At the conclusion Rachel Albers, Liz Horrall,
Shekina Huffman, and La’Princess Jackson
were named finalist and attended the evening
gown portion that took place at half time
of tonight’s game. After which Liz was crowned.
The competition was judged
by a host of local celebrities including:
B96.5’s Mark Gunn, 105.1 WLRS’s Skinny J,
the Courier-Journal Buzz columnist Angie
Fenton, and Big Talk on Small Business’s
Kelly Kuerzi. As well as being sponsored
by P.F. Changs, radio stations LRS 105.1
and WGZB 96.5, and Dan D. Signs.
The Louisville Fire will travel
to Green Bay to take on their division foes.
The Fire kick off against the Blizzard on
Friday, July 18 at 8:30.
