FIRE
GET VETERANS BACK FOR 2008
Louisville, KY-The Louisville
Fire Arena Football team has been assigned
two key veterans from the 2007 team Thomas
Coleman (6’5, 332 lbs., University of South
Carolina) and Lonnell Dewalt (6’6, 230 lbs.,
University of North Alabama).
Coleman joined the Fire towards
the end of the 2007 season. He appeared
in five games primarily as an offensive
linemen but he did see some action on the
defensive side of the ball. He recorded
three tackles and one for a loss.
“Thomas [Coleman] has valuable
experience,” stated Head Coach Tommy Johnson
when asked about Coleman. “He played in
Steve Spurrier’s passing style offense makes
him ideal for the arena game.”
Dewalt appeared in 12 games
in 2007. He had 33 receptions, 442 yards,
and 11 touchdowns on the offensive side
and 22.5 tackles and three pass deflections

Conference.
“He is an amazing athlete

a game open at any time.”
