Louisville,
KY-On Monday, June 23 the Louisville
Fire will be taking on the Lexington
Horsemen. With the state coming together
for a football game, the newly crowned
Mrs. Kentucky, Ra’Tonya Willis-Friedman,
decided that it would be good for
her to show her support. Mrs. Kentucky
will be one of the honorary captains
for the game. She will also be available
to meet fans following the game on
the field during the autograph session.
Ra'Tonya, married to Gary Friedman,
is a lifelong resident of Louisville,
KY. She is a graduate of Male High
School and holds a B.S. from the
University of Louisville, a MAT
and MEA from Spalding
University where she also completed
the Doctoral in Educational Leadership
Program. Ra'Tonya now considers
her biggest accomplishment the opportunity
to be a "stay at home Mom"
to Noa'Sosa, their 9 month old son.
Ra’Tonya competed in the Mrs. Kentucky
pageant as Mrs. Louisville Slugger.
She will represent the Commonwealth
of Kentucky in the Mrs. America
pageant on September 2, 2008 in
Tucson, AZ.
